Presentation
Larry Graham – presented on a large family table he built after lots of family dinners and collecting various tables
Built a table to fit groups up to 18 in a relatively small space. Wanted allow to do in sections and expand as required – wanted to be able to store so keep all extensions connected. Table at rest is 95” long – narrow to fit in the dining room pine / hardwood 14’6” when fully extended – get chairs small enough to fit between table legs. 9 people per side + 1 on each end (2 on each end possible) – didn’t require cross piece on the end because or steel plate secure in the end – extensions loose in draw – lift them up and turn to fit into place
Drawer runner maple or beech- extends one section at a time. Side rails are in pine — panels about 22 inches – 19” in the extension to fit in the drawers
Finished with Tried & True – cleats under the extensions to fit on frame and give it the right height
